Page Rank Search, Made Easy.

Page Rank
Even if you have only been active on the internet for a short time, you have undoubtedly already come across the word "Page Rank", often referred to as PR. For all website owners, especially those trying to make a living of the internet, Page Rank is extremely important. The reason for this is that the higher Page Rank a site has, the bigger importance it has on the web (according to Google). Who wouldn't want to be listed on the first page on Google?

What is Page Rank? Page Rank is actually a numeric method which describes how important a page is on the web. A page will be ranked on a scale from 0 to 10 according to its importance on the web. In order to rank your Page Rank Google actually looks at other pages linking to your page, from there it figures out their importance on the web in order to rank yours. This is called casting a vote and the more votes are cast for a page, the more important that page has to be.

What about Links? One important thing to keep in mind is that not all links (votes) are counted by Google. An example of this are links from known so called link farms and such links will be filtered out by Google. When it comes to links coming into your site you will not get penalized if the link comes from a bad page since this is completely out of your control, out going links from your site on the other hand, is a different matter. If a site has Page Rank 0, it is normally a penalty and not very wise for you to link to.

In search of Page Ranks. Now, having been informed a little about Page Rank and its importance, how do you go about finding your Page Rank? Looking up Page Ranks for several sites can be a time consuming matter. If you are trying to find Page Ranks for many different sites/pages you will find that you can only search for one at a time and if you are trying to look up, lets say about 20 pages, this can take you forever to do. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a different alternative, a place where you could go and actually be able to look up a bulk of pages at once?

There is a solution. Believe it or not but someone already made this possible. Now you can look up as many as 10 URLs at the same time and get results, regarding the Page Ranks for these URLs, with just the click of a button. This is a great tool for not only looking up other websites' Page Ranks but is also an easy way to look up the Page Ranks on the individual pages on your own site. It may be of great interest to you keeping track on how your pages are doing, whether they are increasing in rank or dropping.

Along with looking up several Page Ranks at a time you can also look up other valuable information such as; Internal Page Rank (which is a tool that will check the PR of all pages indexed by Google from your site). Link Popularity (quality and quantity of sites that link to your site). Index Page and in addition to all this you can also check DMOZ listings as well as SERP Page Rank  (search engine result page). These tools are available for anyone who would like to take advantage of them and who is getting frustrated having to search for multiple answers one by one
